Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Truck-mount capacity handles larger losses without slowing down partway through.
We test multiple points across the affected area before calling extraction complete.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
Every part of water extraction work below carries the same documentation standard, whether it's a small job or a larger one.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Extraction dwell time gets adjusted based on how porous the specific concrete surface is.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
A final moisture sweep confirms target levels were actually reached before we leave.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"Moisture readings after the fact gave me real confidence, not just a verbal assurance."
Jasper L., Wellington"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Wellington"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Wellington"They extracted from behind built-in cabinetry without damaging the cabinets themselves, which I honestly hadn't expected them to manage."
Fernanda Q., Wellington"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., WellingtonThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 36279, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Wellington address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
Service boundaries are based on realistic response time, not an arbitrary line on a map.
